As items are setup at www.softrockradio.org they will be deleted from here until all content except "The Parts Place" are re-created at the new site.

Please and make sure the "Handling charges" show up on the total before clicking on the PayPal link. Too many people are not waiting until the calculations are finished before paying, this causes delays in shipping the order.

Prices in the "Integrated Circuits" section have been updated, all items except two have been reduced in price.

The "Semiconductor" area is done, every device had it's price lowered.

The "Passive devices" area is done, most devices had their prices lowered, and the discount quantities improved.

I will be adding over 50 new parts that are in stock shortly.

Today I finished the prototype microprocessor board. I added the smd components on the copper side and I hope to start programming next week.

The LCD display and the band/bandsegment switches are mount and I soldered the wires to the connectors.

Now I can mount the brainboard and start programming. As a result the band/segment information will appear on the LCD display.

I wrote a small program already for my EasyPic3 system and will convert the code to this project.

So coming soon the first resulys..........

SI570 programming

Hi André,

Sure looks nice what you are doing there.
I'm still using RXTXv6.2 using only one xtal, but the postman should deliver both the SI570 and an AMQRP-dds kit soon.
Hope I will be able to "hook up" shortly.

Good luck in your programming efforts!

SI570 programming

Hello Christiaan, nice to see other people building these things. DDS 60 works very nice with the RX and RXTX kits. If you like you can use the software I wrote for the 16F877a. I don't go further with this concept because I like a seperate SI570 osc subsystem.

Hope to see your results soon so we can share sollutions.
